Dr. Shannon Harding, assoc. professor of psychology at ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp is using a $2,500 grant from CT Campus Compact to promote science in Bridgeport classrooms. ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp students have visited Black Rock School and St. Ann's School to talk about the brain. Now the grade-school students will visit a science lab at ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp to:

The course winds up in December with a pizza party and delivery of science equipment to the schools, funded by the grant. St. Ann's will be using the money to purchase microscopes so that they can view brain cells with a high resolution. Black Rock has not decided what to do with the funds yet.
