Egan Faculty Members Work Tirelessly to Ensure Nursing Students Are Able to Continue with Clinicals

Our Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies faculty and students have been amazing at transitioning to their virtual clinical sites. During the Spring 2020 semester, we had over 400 undergraduate nursing students in community and acute care settings that could not continue their experiences after spring break. The EGAN faculty worked tirelessly following the announcement that we would move to an online format starting March 16, 2020. Not a single day of clinical was missed! This is a significant accomplishment as our faculty had to develop innovative ways to continue to learn how to care for patients during our time of social distancing.
