¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp's "The Sand Bar" Food Truck Joins Town Oktoberfest

2nd Annual Oktoberfest held in FTC Lot Saturday, Sep. 14

The Town of Fairfield will host its 2nd Annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, Sep. 14 from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. in The Lot at FTC and Sanford Street Lot.

 A selection of seasonal beers, as well as local food trucks with festive food offerings, and music will be on-site. Joining this year will be ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp’s very own food truck, The Sand Bar, offering a selection of fall favorites – including its famous Mahoney Arena Salted Pretzel on campus.

The Sand Bar will be offering:

  • Jumbo Arena Salted Pretzel with choice of beer cheese sauce/mustard or a cinnamon and sugar topping.
  • Potato Pancakes (3) with sour cream, snipped chives and apple sauce.
  • Weiner Schnitzel Sliders (2) on pretzel rolls with gruyere cheese, red cabbage, and Bavarian mustard.
  • Warm German Apple Strudel with caramel drizzle and whipped cream.
  • Cold Apple Cider with cinnamon sugar rim and star anise.

Commemorative Fairfield Oktoberfest t-shirts and steins will be available for purchase. Live music by Dennis Polisky & Maestro's Men and Fuzz & Friends will provide entertainment throughout the event.
