Advent Reflections: An Online Series
Feeling overwhelmed by the bustle of the holiday season? Allow yourself the gift of a few moments of quiet contemplation each day of Advent, courtesy of the Murphy Center for Ignatian Spirituality’s new online .
Beginning on Dec. 3 (the first Sunday of Advent) and running through Christmas Day, the Advent Reflections Series will offer participants access to daily five-minute online videos, each hosted by a spiritual director of the Murphy Center. Each host will offer a reflection on that day’s scripture reading, and encourage viewers to enjoy a few moments of peace and prayer in preparation for the celebration of the birth of Jesus at Christmas.
Led by Rev. John Savard, S.J.,’78, assistant director of the Murphy Center, the Advent Reflections Series is free and open to the Fairfield community – faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp and Fairfield Prep are encouraged to participate.

Women’s Advent Retreat
With a theme of “Tidings of Comfort and Joy,” the will take place at the Dolan School of Business Event Hall on Tuesday, Dec. 5. Drinks and snacks will be served at 6 p.m. and the retreat will begin at 6:30.
Sponsored by the Murphy Center for Ignatian Spirituality and Campus Ministry, attendance at this popular annual evening of fellowship and reflection fills up quickly.
