As part of the University’s ongoing strategic plan to elevate our student experience, ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp is transitioning to Workday Student as its next-generation Student Information System.

We are writing to share important news with the ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp community. As part of the University’s ongoing strategic plan to elevate our student experience, ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp is transitioning to Workday Student as its next generation Student Information System. Workday Student is intuitive, accessible, and mobile-friendly, and will offer students a streamlined user-experience starting in 2025. Among other benefits, students will be able to access a single portal to view academic status and grades, register for courses, pay bills, track progress and requests, and receive notifications anywhere at any time, from their phone or desktop, in a secure network environment.

Workday Student is a cloud-based system that will replace the current Banner application. When implemented, Workday Student will be completely connected to the existing Workday enterprise cloud management solution for finance and human resources, making it easier for faculty and staff to interact with students and access data. It will also provide the means for the University to align business processes, increase efficiencies, and improve analytics and reporting.

In the following months, the Steering Committee for the Workday Student project will be announcing opportunities to participate in information sessions to learn more about Workday Student.

Thank you,

Christine Siegel, PhD, Provost

JoAnne Williams, JD, Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration
