Please join us at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 12 in the Egan Chapel to mark the beginning of the new school year with the traditional Mass of the Holy Spirit.

All members of the University community are invited to come together to celebrate the Mass of the Holy Spirit on Sunday, Sept. 12 at 5 p.m. This celebration will take place during the regularly scheduled Sunday evening Mass at ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp's Egan Chapel of St. Ignatius of Loyola.

The Mass of the Holy Spirit traditionally marks the beginning of the academic year in Catholic colleges and universities  — it is a time to celebrate and join spiritually with millions worldwide. This year’s Mass will be celebrated by University Chaplain and Director of Campus Ministry Rev. Keith Maczkiewicz, S.J., ’04. We hope you will join us as we continue this Jesuit tradition, a prayerful celebration of discernment and integrity in the Ignatian tradition.

Please note: masks are required to enter Egan Chapel.
