¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp’s Class of 2024 Among Academically Strongest in University History

Fairfield’s Class of 2024 comes from a new record applicant pool, and is the second largest first-year head count in University history.

¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp’s Class of 2024 is poised to be a strong addition to the University community. Selected from among Fairfield’s largest applicant pool ever with more than 12,500 applications submitted this enrollment cycle, the class also boasts the second largest first-year head count in University history, with 1,150 students.

Additionally, the Class of 2024 is indicating strong academic promise and diversified scholastic and extracurricular pursuits. The cohort comes to Fairfield with an average high school GPA of 3.61 and average SAT/ACT scores of 1312. With 19 student government presidents, 797 students who completed service work, 120 musicians, and 769 student-athletes, the Class of 2024 promises to be engaged in all areas of campus life.

Members of the Class of 2024 come to Fairfield from 27 states plus Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico, as well as nine countries including Vietnam, Japan, the Netherlands, and New Zealand.

The incoming pool of graduate students also presents a robust student population. Applicants from 25 different states are enrolled to begin more than 40 distinct grad programs, including inaugural classes for the online Business Analytics, Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition, and Marketing Analytics and Strategy programs.
