Networking 101
Thursday, January 23 at 6:30 p.m. – Dolan Room 201
Learn the dynamics of networking, the merits of doing informational interviews or job shadows, the importance of understanding what an Elevator Pitch is, how to conduct proper email communication, and the guidelines to follow for networking with alumni. This event is an excellent way to prepare for the Undercover Alumni event on January 30.

Accounting Welcome Back
Wednesday, January 29 at 3 p.m. – Dolan Event Hall Join recruiters from major accounting firms and learn more about the recruiting process. Light refreshments will be served.

Excel Workshop Series
Session I - January 29, February 5 and 12 – Dolan Room 201 at 5 p.m. each night
Session II – February 18 and 25, March 3 – Dolan Finance Lab at 5 p.m. each night
Two Sessions this semester where students can learn valuable introductory, intermediate, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. This event series is sponsored by Bank of America.

Resume Reviews For First-Year Students
Thursday, February 13 at 2 p.m. - Dolan Ideation Lab
Workshop geared toward establishing a resume or transitioning from a high school format to a collegiate one.

Streaming Wars: Competition For Your Subscription
Friday, February 21 at 8:30 a.m. – Dolan Event Hall
Learn more about the topic of streaming wars from a panel of experts including CNBC Squawk Box guest, Stephen Beck, other media contacts, and top Fairfield faculty. The panel will explore the changes in consumer media consumption, spotlight the streaming wars powerhouses, and explore how the introduction of new streaming services is disrupting the industry and impacting consumers.

Etiquette Dinner
Tuesday, March 24 at 5 p.m. - Dolan Event Hall
This dinner and presentation, featuring a professional etiquette expert, will help you gain a competitive edge by showing you how to avoid some common etiquette pitfalls. This event is highly encouraged for Dolan juniors and seniors. Business casual dress is suggested.

Fairfield StartUp Showcase
Thursday, April 23 at 6 p.m. – Quick Center for the Arts
Join us for the annual entrepreneurship competition – the Fairfield StartUp Showcase – as students compete for seed money in front of a panel of investors to start their business.
