The Office of Admission is offering an information session for prospective students interested in earning a doctorate in clinical nutrition.

On Wednesday, February 5, ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp’s Office of Graduate Admission will host a Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition Information Session from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Alumni House. Registration and refreshments will begin at 5:30 p.m. and a presentation will follow at 6 p.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet program director Janet Hiser, MOE, RD, CNSC, who will discuss the new doctorate in clinical nutrition degree and answer all questions regarding the program. Admission staff will be available to assist with application questions.

The Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition program at ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp is an advanced practice doctoral degree with emphasis on leadership, advanced evidence-based practice, and research. The program prepares graduates to become registered dietitian nutritionists who are leaders in the profession. 

The program is a three year, full-time or four year part-time program, which includes both didactic courses integrated with supervised experiential learning in community, healthcare, and food service settings. Admission to the program is open to students who have completed a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with required prerequisite courses.

¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp’s Graduate Information Sessions are helpful to college seniors and working professionals seeking to increase opportunities for career advancement, bolster their professional credentials, or change career paths.
