Fairfield Women's Soccer is 10-5-3 overall, 7-2-1 in the MAAC
Fairfield Women’s Soccer is set to host a MAAC Championship Semifinal on campus on Thursday, Nov. 7. Kickoff from Lessing Field is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast live on . The Stags are hosting a home postseason match for the first time since 2006.
After being selected seventh in the MAAC Preseason Poll this August, the Stags have posted a 10-5-3 overall record and a 7-2-1 MAAC tally to secure the #2 seed in the conference and earn a bye into the Semifinal round. Fairfield’s opponent will be determined by the results of Sunday’s opening round that features Quinnipiac traveling to Marist, and Rider hosting Niagara. Top-seeded Monmouth will host the other Semifinal matchup on Thursday.
Should Fairfield be the top remaining seed heading into the final round, the MAAC Championship Match will also be held on Lessing Field.
