Fairfield Earns High Distinctions on Princeton Review’s Best 385 Colleges List

The University was named to top 20 nationwide lists for Best Alumni Network and Best Schools for Internships

Affirming its place as a modern Jesuit university on the rise, ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp has once again been named to ’s annual college rankings of the best 385 colleges for 2020. Nationally, Fairfield earned high marks in several of the review’s top 20 rankings, placing No. 14 for Best Alumni Network, No. 14 for Best Schools for Internships, No. 16 for its location in the town of Fairfield, and No. 19 for Happiest Students.

Fairfield has also received a regional distinction, earning a place on the review’s list of Best Northeastern Colleges. These rankings were based on a survey that asked 140,000 students at 385 of the nation’s top colleges to rate their schools on dozens of topics important to college applicants and their parents, naming top 20 schools to a total of 62 national ranking categories.

"We chose the 385 colleges for this edition as our 'best' overall, academically, based on data we gathered in 2018–19 from more than a thousand school administrators about their schools' academic programs and offerings," said Robert Franek, The Princeton Review's Editor-in-Chief and lead author of the book. "We are well aware, however, that applicants need more than an academic assessment to choose the colleges best for them. We created our dozens of ranking lists specifically to facilitate that search.”
