Fairfield sits atop the MAAC at 4-0-0
Cormac Pike ’22 has been recognized by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) as its Defensive Player of the Week following a strong effort on both sides of the pitch last week for Fairfield Men’s Soccer. Pike and the defending MAAC Champion Stags are currently leading the conference standings at 4-0-0.
Pike, who comes to Fairfield from Somerset, England, scored a pair of goals last Saturday in Fairfield’s 5-0 rout at Canisius. He was also a part of the back line that ceded just one goal in 180 minutes as the Stags topped both Canisius and Monmouth on the road during the week.
