Students are invited to take part in the “Money Talks” workshop series, open to all class years and majors.
The Dolan Professional Development Series (PDS) will host the second "Money Talks" workshop on Monday, November 5, 2018 for students and recent graduates. The workshop will be hosted by Scott Brenner, adjunct professor of accounting and managing partner at Dylewsky, Goldberg & Brenner, LLC.
“We’re excited to once again offer students the chance to gain essential life skills that are not typically taught in a classroom setting” Brenner said. “My ultimate goal is to give students proper insight into the real world and assist them in what to expect in the near future.”
The session will discuss topics such as compensation, insurance, paychecks, buying and leasing a car, and purchasing a home. The goal of the workshops is to give students a comprehensive understanding of money management, to help them in their lives after Fairfield.
The workshop will be held in the Library Auditorium, room 101, at 5 p.m. Current students should register for this event through OrgSync, and recent graduates should contact Sarah Bollinger, director of internships and professional development, to sign up. For current students, this event satisfies a Dolan PDS level four requirement.
Can't make it to the workshop? Students will have additional opportunities to participate on January 30, and February 11 and 26.
