Be first to hear about the Quick’s upcoming season while enjoying a festive evening at the ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp Art Museum’s Walsh Gallery.
On Friday, May 18, the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts at ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp will announce its 2018-19 season with a gathering in collaboration with the ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp Art Museum and Ven ü Magazine.
The Quick’s 2018-19 season is filled with award-winning artists and global thinkers, offering the highest caliber of artistic and intellectual experiences designed to delight, inspire, and change the way audiences seek arts experiences in Fairfield County and beyond.
A diversity of voices and global perspectives will be represented throughout the upcoming season, including those from artists originating in Zimbabwe, Canada, Burkina Faso, South Africa, Argentina, Australia, Spain, Japan, and Russia. In addition, the Quick will be collaborating with and commissioning artists to create new works. This will allow us to present audiences with world and U.S. premieres, as well as offer opportunities for the audience to learn more from the artists through a series of educational programs.
Festivities on May 18 will begin at 6 p.m. at the Quick Center with a cocktail reception and the closing exhibition viewing of William Kentridge: Universal Archives currently on display in the Quick’s Walsh Gallery. At 7:30 p.m. the Quick will present an overview of the new season. This special evening will welcome Quick members and patrons, ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp Art Museum supporters, and members of the architecture and interior design communities.
This event is free and open to all, but registration is requested.
