¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp Graduate Programs Ranked Among Best in Nation by U.S. News & World Report

Fairfield’s Business programs in Finance, Marketing, and Info Systems are ranked in the top 15 in the U.S., and along with Accounting, are the top full-time graduate programs in the state. Additionally, Fairfield’s Nursing DNP and Master’s programs are again among the best nationwide.

Graduate programs in ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp’s Charles F. Dolan School of Business and Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies have been named among the best in the nation according to the 2019 “Best Graduate Schools” ranking from U.S. News and World Report .  The Schools’ rankings were determined, in part, by voting from peer institutions, and are based on factors such as faculty resources, research activity and awarded grants, and student selectivity.

Included are Fairfield’s full-time graduate programs in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, and Information Systems, and the Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing.

Nearly all programs saw a rise up the list, including finance which rose to #12 in the nation, up from #21 last year. The full list of rankings for full-time graduate programs in the Dolan School and Egan School is below:

BUSINESS:

  • Best Grad Business Specialty Programs: Accounting: #21, tied with Harvard University (vs. 23 last year)
  • Best Grad Business Specialty Programs: Finance: #12 (vs. 21 last year)
  • Best Grad Business Specialty Programs: Marketing: #15 (vs. 19 last year)
  • Best Grad Business Specialty Programs: Info Systems: #15 (vs. 20 last year)

NURSING:

  • Best Grad Nursing – Master’s: #74 (vs. #88 previous year)
  • Best Grad Nursing – DNP:  #58 (vs. #59 previous year)
