Ticket Sales Now Open for ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp’s 2018-19 Quick Center Season

The Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts' dynamic new season lineup features Jane Fonda, Pilobolus, John Pizzarelli, and much more!

The Quick has put together a remarkable calendar of inspiring performances, lectures, and artistic collaborations for its 29th season. Subscription packages and single ticket sales are now available for must-see events that will provide global perspectives and meaningful dialogue, special opportunities to witness the work of our artists-in-residence, and entertaining stage performances. Here are some highlights:

  • Beginning this summer, the Quick is proud to host several artists-in-residence. First, moves in to cultivate a variety collaborative experiences in the form of classes, camps, and interactive performances. Then, following a spectacular Quick season-opener last year, Frédérick Gravel returns to create a new multi-genre project featuring music, theater, and dance. Finally, the Quick welcomes Zimbabwean-born choreographer Nora Chipaumire as she completes her latest work and leads educational programs before sharing her newest piece which delves into the intersectionality of race, gender, and other social factors.
  • The Open VISIONS Forum (OVF) lecture series begins on Thursday, September 27 as Oscar-award winning actress and social justice advocate takes to the Quick Center stage to discuss America's cultural and political landscape. A special dinner with Jane Fonda will be hosted by Artisan Restaurant at the Delamar Southport; tickets are available through the Quick Center box office. Other voices coming to the Quick this fall as part of the provocative and enlightening OVF lecture series include Michael Lewis, Barry Barnes, and Khizr Khan.
  • On Sunday, September 30 the Quick will host a supercharged blast of authentic southern gospel featuring Pastor Brady Blade Sr. and gospel choir.This soulful day will include a worship service, a brunch celebration with the performers, and an afternoon concert. On December 16, Quick audience favorite John Pizzarelli returns with Grammy award-winning vocalist Catherine Russell for a classy, jazz-infused tribute to Billie Holliday and Frank Sinatra.
