The largest class in Fairfield’s history, the Class of 2022 will be welcomed with with a host of Move-In Day festivities.
On Sunday, September 2, ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp will welcome transfer students and the Class of 2022 -- its largest-ever group of incoming first-year students -- to Stag Country.
As part of Fall Welcome, students will move into residence halls from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and enjoy QuadFest -- an event featuring a barbeque, treats from local vendor Saugatuck Sweets, music and live coverage by Fairfield's radio station WVOF, a photo booth, and a parent engagement tent. A family Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m., and a “Once a Stag Always a Stag” pep rally and class photo will take place before students and their families convene for a blessing and the President’s Send-Off Ceremony at 4:30 p.m. in the Field House of the Leslie C. Move-In Day will be featured prominently on the University’s social media accounts. On the big day, September 2, watch the @FairfieldU Instagram and Snapchat stories for a look at the day through the eyes of Fairfield students.
Fairfield’s social media coverage of the day will allow everyone to join in the celebration of the new school year.
