The Dolan School Marketing Club will host a Marketing MIXer event on November 2.
Students interested in Marketing are invited to attend the Dolan School Marketing MIXer event on Thursday, November 2 from 6 -7 p.m. in the Dolan School of Business Dining Room to meet alumni and guests speakers
The Marketing MIXer is an opportunity for students to meet with expert marketers and focus on perfecting their networking skills while learning more about career paths in marketing. The event is designed to give students an understanding of what qualifications are needed to excel in the field.
Students will hear from alumni and various speakers including Dana Aigotti ’17, associate account executive at Epsilon. Aigotti started her career with Epsilon after graduating last spring and is currently working on the ACCO brand. She said, “This event is important for marketing students because there are so many different career paths that can be taken.”
Wendy Christian, chief communications officer at Save the Children, will also be a featured speaker. Christian has more than 20 years of experience in agency, corporate, and non-profit communications. Not only does she think the event is a non-intimidating way for students to learn about careers but also “an opportunity [for employers] to meet talented students who might be candidates for internships or full-time positions.”
Additionally, Sebastian Oddo, vice president of digital and content production for Octagon Sports Marketing, will be a featured speaker. Oddo has 13 years of experience in marketing and is a digital and tech strategist.
Students will have the opportunity to listen to the panel and then network afterwards. This event satisfies a PDS level 3 requirement. Students should register on .
