Don’t miss the “Swim Team” Screening on November 6 at the Quick Center.

The Special Education Program at the Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions will host a screening of the award-winning documentary, “ Swim Team ” on Monday, November 6 at 6 p.m. at the Quick Center for the Arts. Directed by Lara Stolman, the film profiles the rise of the Jersey Hammerheads, a competitive swim team made up of a diverse group of teens on the autism spectrum.

Following three teammates on the cusp of adulthood, when government services become scarce, “Swim Team” is a portrait of diverse American families grappling with the problem of "aging out."

There will be a Q&A session with the director following the screening. This event is free and open to the public.
