Safety Celebrated at ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp

With $85.5 Million of construction leading the way towards Fairfield’s future, the University has seen new additions to the community. But instead of wearing suits, they’re wearing hard hats.

On Wednesday, May 3, the University’s Department of Facilities, along with teams from national construction leaders Gilbane, Skanska, and Whiting Turner, gathered at Alumni Hall for a luncheon celebration of hard work and dedication from the crews on campus. David Frassinelli, Associate Vice President of Facilities, thanked the more than 250 people for their commitment to making Fairfield a leader in construction safety, which has resulted in zero lost hours, a major accomplishment in the field.

"The campus and buildings that provide the environment for growth and learning are fundamental to our mission," said Frassinelli. "¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp appreciates that the trades who work safely also provide value and quality. Today was all about thanking the individuals who build ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp. We want to guarantee that we send them home to their families in the same condition they came to work each day.”
