Fairfield Softball Takes on LSU - NCAA Action Tonight on ESPN
Fairfield Softball won the 2017 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship last Sunday, defeating Monmouth by a score of 2-0. Destinee Pallotto ’18 pitched her first career no-hitter to seal the victory and earn MAAC Championship MVP honors.
After winning the third MAAC Championship in program history (1991, 2015, 2017), Head Coach Julie Brzezinski and the Stags will travel to Baton Rouge, Louisiana for the opening rounds of the NCAA Championship. Fairfield first meets the host LSU Tigers on Friday, May 19 at 6:30 p.m. (ET) on . The Stags will then challenge either Louisiana-Lafayette or McNeese on Saturday, May 20.
