¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp Bookstore Offers Local Youth New Book Club

The downtown ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp Bookstore presents a Middle Reader Book Club beginning this March 2017, for kids ages 9-12 . Children will choose from a selection of Middle Reader ARCs (Advanced Reader Copies) and share their thoughts at subsequent meetings. Participants will be asked to write book reviews to be displayed in our Kids Area. Colony Pizza will be provided. This relaxed social setting with like-minded students hopes to excite and encourage a lifelong love of reading and books.

Book Club participants will meet on the 2nd floor from 5:00pm-6:00pm on the second Friday of the month for four consecutive months beginning March 2017. Meeting Dates: March 10th, April 14th, May 12th and June 9th, 2017. ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp Bookstore Associates will lead the discussions. The first meeting will be an introduction where kids can discuss what they are reading now, get a feel for the format and select their first ARCs. Parents are encouraged to sign children up at the downtown Bookstore Register. A signed parent permission slip is also required. Kids are welcome to keep the books they read. This event is free and open to the public.

Space is limited so please contact Nancy L. Quinn, Special Events Coordinator at FairfieldUBookstoreEvents@gmail.com with questions or to reserve a spot.
