Etiquette Dinner Preps Students for Professional Dining - March 2

The Dolan School will host its annual Etiquette Dinner on Thursday, March 2 in the Dolan School of Business Dining Room from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Open to all students , the evening will feature Ann Marie Sabath, a professional etiquette expert and president of At Ease, Inc. who will help students gain a competitive edge by showing them how to avoid some common etiquette pitfalls.

The Etiquette Dinner is part of the Dolan School’s Professional Development Series and is highly encouraged for juniors and seniors. Students can expect to learn about topics including how to work a room, what to order at a restaurant and how to converse over a three-course meal.

Tim Cobau ’17 who attended the Etiquette Dinner last year shared, “Knowing the common courtesies and soft skills needed to ace a business dinner has been incredibly valuable during my interview experience. [For me] a large part of the interview process was eating while socializing with Synchrony Financial employees. I reviewed all of the tips I learned from the Etiquette Dinner beforehand and I strongly recommend that all students (business major or not) attend the event.”

Space is limited. Reserve your spot today on OrgSync . The cost to attend is $10 which includes a three-course meal. This event meets one of the Level 4 DSB PDS requirements. Business casual dress is suggested.
