Student Activities Fair, BANDALOOP, Sept. 9

On Friday, September 9 from 4-7 p.m., the annual student Activities Fair will be held on the Barone Campus Center Green. The goal of the Activities Fair is to give students, especially first-year students, the opportunity to learn more about and join one or more of ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp’s clubs and organizations. Over 100 student clubs and organizations will be participating in the fair.

“The Activities Fair gets bigger and bigger each year, which is a testament to how vibrant and engaged our campus community is. I keep hearing how much the students love showcasing what Fairfield has to offer, which speaks volumes to how vital student involvement is to the overall ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp student experience,” said Jeremy Kaler, associate director of Student Engagement.

During the Activities Fair, the world-renowned aerial dance company, , will have two performances at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Repelling from the roof of Fairfield’s Bannow Science Center, the company will present an awe-inspiring choreographed dance on the side of the building. The performance, which is open and free to the public, is the first of its kind for the Quick Center.

“There is no better way to kick off the school year and Quick Center season than a party with the world’s best aerial dance group,” said Quick Center Executive Director Peter Van Heerden. “This event is not to be missed."
