¶¶Ňô»ĆƬapp’s Dolan School of Business graduate accounting program has received high marks from Accounting Degree Review in in the country.

“The Top 50 Graduate Accounting Programs ranking list for 2017” named Fairfield #15 among other schools nationwide. Accounting Degree Review combined the rankings of three publications— US News and World Report , Public Accounting Report , and Brigham Young University’s accounting rankings—to create their own list. They also factored in the schools’ AACSB accreditation (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), which the Dolan School has held since 1997.

The ranking noted that the school’s five-year Master of Science in Accounting Program gives students the option to pursue various accounting focuses, including Assurance, Tax and Accounting Information Systems. Additionally, the program meets the CPA exam requirements for those who focus on tax.

“This is continued recognition for our nationally ranked accounting program, which emphasizes small class sizes and high interaction between our stellar faculty and students,” said Dr. Donald Gibson, Dean of the Dolan School. “It’s a program that fully prepares our students for entry into major accounting firms, and nearly 100% of them do just that.”

The ranking is the latest in a string of recent accolades for Fairfield. Earlier this year, the University ranked second best in the northern region in the annualranking from U.S. News and World Report .
