Join us for the season announcement party on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 6-7:30 p.m., and be the first to learn more about the exciting programming the new season has in store, including:
- Celebrating 400 years of Shakespeare with a U.S. premiere of a live opera exploring tyranny, greed and remorse set in the Eastern Provinces of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
- Dance that goes vertical when artists perform on the walls of campus buildings.
- The Open VISIONS Forum, the Quick Center’s signature lecture series, taking on the relevant topics of the day with serious inquiry and a bit of wit.
- Musical performances inspired by Fado, the American Songbook and African lullabies.
The upcoming season promises to offer a unique experience that will captivate you and change the way you experience art in Fairfield County. “We are thrilled to share such an engaging, stimulating and entertaining season of world-class international and national artists and speakers with our community,” shared Lori Jones, Director of Programming and Audience Development.
