Lacrosse to Host Military Appreciation Day, April 9
¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp Lacrosse will host its annual Military Appreciation Day on Saturday, April 9 at Rafferty Stadium. All military veterans and active duty servicemen and women will receive free admission to the doubleheader, which features a pair of pivotal conference matchups for both lacrosse teams.
In addition to free admission for military personnel, limited edition Fairfield Lacrosse apparel will be on sale with proceeds to benefit military charities and organizations.
The action on Conway Field begins at noon with Fairfield women’s lacrosse – the defending champion of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference – hosting MAAC foe Siena. The second half of the doubleheader pits the reigning Colonial Athletic Association regular season champion Fairfield men’s lacrosse against CAA opponent Drexel at 3 p.m.
Both ends of the twin bill will be broadcast live on ESPN3, produced by the ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp Media Center.
