Iron Chef Judge, Donatella Arpaia ‘93, February 26

¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp is pleased to welcome Iron Chef Judge, Donatella Arpaia ’93 to campus on Friday, February 26 to host the Open VISIONS Forum at 8 p.m. at the Quick Center. Donatella is best known for her role as head judge on Food Network’s Iron Chef America and The Next Iron Chef . During the Open VISIONS Forum, Donatella will share her insights into making her dream a reality and how she transformed her career as an attorney to become a hotshot TV foodie and culinary mogul.

Earlier in the day, Donatella will host a student meatball competition at 3:30 p.m. in the lower level of the BCC with five student club teams who will compete for "best meatball." Students will have 30 minutes to make their own meatball recipes in front of a panel of judges and student audience. While the meatballs cook, student chefs and the audience will get to sample Donatella’s meatballs and other appetizers, and hear from Donatella about her culinary career.

Later that evening, Donatella will be hosting the Open VISIONS Forum, “From Undergrad Stag to a Hotshot TV Foodie: How This Iron Chef Judge and Restaurateur Followed Her Dream to Success.” As an alumna and entrepreneur Donatella will share her unique perspective on how she launched her culinary career and shaped her future.

This is an event not to be missed, and a great show for your Stag and their sibling(s) to enjoy on Siblings' Weekend.

To reserve your tickets to the Open VISIONS Forum visit the Quick Center website or call the box office at (203) 254-4010. Tickets are $45 and $5 for ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp students.
