Under the direction of Head Coach Sydney Johnson, Fairfield men’s basketball boasts a 5-3 record in the early stages of the 2016-17 campaign. The Stags, who won 19 games last season en route to a return to the national postseason stage, are led by nearly 20 points per game from Tyler Nelson and more than 11 rebounds per contest from Amadou Sidibe, who currently leads the MAAC in rebounding following his fifth consecutive double-double.

The Stags will be playing their AJCU foe Boston College for the first time since 2006. The rivalry with the Eagles began with a 76-65 Fairfield win in 1954. This year’s contest will be the 36th time that Fairfield and Boston College have met on the court.
