The Glee Club Glad Tidings We Bring Christmas Concert
Friday, December 2 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, December 3 at 2 p.m. at The Quick Center for the Arts
The ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp Glee Club presents its annual holiday concert “Glad Tidings We Bring,” on Friday, December 2 at 8 p.m., and Saturday, December 3 at 2 p.m., at ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp's Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts . Tickets are $10 for general admission and $6 for students and are available through the Quick Center Box Office by calling (203) 254-4010, or toll-free 1-877-ARTS-396 (1-877-278-7396), or online at .
The Glee Club will perform choral music from several different traditions, including European and American holiday traditions. The concert, conducted by Carole Ann Maxwell, D.S.M, includes brass and percussion, as well as members in a variety of collaborations. Also performing are Sweet Harmony , an all-female ensemble of chamber singers, The Bensonians, an all-male a cappella group, and the Chamber Singers under the direction of Dr. Maxwell.

Mark your calendar for the Annual Tree Lighting on Tuesday, December 6 at 7:45 p.m. at the large tree by the Chapel Patio. Holiday remarks will be delivered by Lynn Babington, PhD, RN, Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs. Acapella groups, The Bensonians and Sweet Harmony, will perform Christmas carols. This event is hosted by FUSA.
Santa’s Workshop

Come and enjoy Santa's Workshop after the tree lighting! You will have the opportunity to take pictures with Santa as well as decorate your own stockings and Santa hats, while enjoying some holiday treats.

Iconic singer-songwriter Rosanne Cash is an artist and musician who is comfortable in her craft regardless of what she happens to be creating. She has earned four Grammy wins, 12 Grammy nominations, two gold records, written a ton of hit singles, a hit memoir titled Composed, essays featured in New York Times and Rolling Stone and a collection of edited short stories. Her acclaimed 2014 album, The River & The Thread, was hailed by Newsweek as “the work of a lifetime” and winner of three 2015 Grammy Awards including Best Americana Album. Joined on stage by her longtime collaborator and husband John Leventhal, Cash shares her rich collection of original songs that connect and re-connect her to the American South during this intimate evening celebrating the role of storyteller.
4th Annual Fairfield Holiday Shop & Stroll Event

Shopping, Food, Music and More! Participating shops will stay open late and will offer an assortment of hors d'oeuvres and seasonal refreshments. Traveling carolers and musicians from local schools will fill the air with holiday cheer, and local restaurants will be offering dinner or drink specials. The event will also feature a 90-minute ice-sculpting demonstration beginning at 6:00 pm at Sherman Green by world renowned ice carver Bill Covitz of Ice Matters.

Midnight Breakfast is a tradition during which students, faculty, staff, alumni, and administration can come together to celebrate the end of a successful semester and to spread holiday cheer. This year, Midnight Breakfast will feature three seatings, and while we recognize that this is a long evening to commit to, the event will be most successful if we have everyone’s participation for the full duration of the program. American Music Series: Listening Sessions
