FUSA Hosts 12th Annual Presidential Ball- Hollywood Walk of Fame
¶¶Ňô»ĆƬapp held its 12th annual Presidential Ball on Thursday, October 8, 2015. President Jeffrey P. von Arx, S.J. and the ¶¶Ňô»ĆƬapp Student Association (FUSA) hosted the event.
Although the Ball was originally postponed due to last week’s harsh weather forecast, FUSA was able to reschedule quickly before the long Columbus Day weekend.
The Presidential Ball is a Fairfield tradition that serves as a kickoff to the fall semester. This year’s theme was "Hollywood Walk of Fame." Students dressed in their best red-carpet-style attire and arrived at Bellarmine Hall ready to dance the night away to DJ International. They also enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and desserts offered throughout the evening.
“The Presidential Ball is one of the University’s most popular events and a night in which the entire Fairfield community celebrates,” said Brie Tancredi ’17, chair of programming for FUSA.
FUSA President, Anif McDonald ’16 and Tancredi expressed their happiness with this year’s turnout: “We were very excited to be able to continue this wonderful occasion and enjoyed seeing everyone there!”
