Celebrate the magic of the holiday season as Savion Glover and his band bring joyous dance, rhythm and music in the production of Savion Glover’s “DANCE HOLIDAY SPeCTacULaR” at the Quick Center this Sunday, December 6 at 3 p.m.
Incredibly talented tap dancer and legendary choreographer Savion Glover will celebrate the cheerful holiday spirit with an encapsulating energy as only he can. This Tony Award winner has made his mark in the world of tap having worked with acclaimed artists Gregory Hines and Sammy Davis, Jr. and starred in multiple films and theatre productions including “Bring in ‘da Noise, Bring in ‘da Funk.”
Glover will be joined by exceptional live musicians in “DANCE HOLIDAY SPeCTacULaR” to share all-time holiday favorites from around the world. Directed and choreographed by Glover in concert with Dance Candy and Marshall Davis Jr., Karissa Royster, Sarah Savelli and Robyn Watson, the show will include unique performances of “My Favorite Thingz,” “Jingo Bellz,” “Let It Snow,” “We Wish You A Funky Wishlist” and more.
