Fairfield Ruggers vs. Vassar in Championship Game this weekend
This Sunday, November 9, 2014, at 1 p.m., Men’s Rugby will host Vassar College in the Tristate Conference Championship Final here on campus. Both teams have reached the final having gone unbeaten in regular season play. Fairfield won the South Division, and Vassar won the North. In the cross-divisional semifinals on November 2, Fairfield had a resounding win over North # 2 Rensselear Polytechnic, with a score of 58-10.
Come out and cheer on the team at Lt. Hans Grauert Memorial Field this Sunday! The winner will advance to the USA Rugby National Championship.
