Senior Week Farewell, Orientation Welcome

Student Programs & Leadership Development (SPLD) is gearing up to provide the ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp "bookend" experiences to the Classes of 2014 and 2018.

Senior Week

We are looking forward to commemorating the culmination of the Class of 2014’s four years at Fairfield with a full of events geared towards socializing, reflecting, serving, and celebrating. During the week of May 11, our seniors will enjoy time with their favorite faculty and staff members at Senior Soiree; dance the night away with each other at Stag Night and Commencement Ball; give back to the community at Senior Service; relax and have fun at Senior Picnic and Six Flags; and share their gratitude and excitement with their friends and families at Family Dance.

All of these events and others will lead up to a joyful commencement ceremony on Bellarmine Lawn on Sunday, May 18, at 9:30 a.m.

Senior Week is the University's opportunity to thank the senior class for their contributions over the past four years and to commend them on their accomplishments. They are a remarkable class that will surely be missed. We extend our congratulations and thanks to the parents and guardians of the Class of 2014.

Orientation 2014

E‌xactly one month after we say goodbye to the seniors, the campus opens its gates to new Stags in the Class of 2018 during two Orientation sessions on June 18-19 and June 23-24. As with the Class of 2014, this class of students has large shoes to fill during their time at Fairfield, but the Office of Admissions assures us that they are up to the task.

Our team of 60 New Stude nt Leaders and 30 Orientation Support Team members are training and gearing up for a loud, enthusiastic welcome. At , they'll create a welcoming environment to help the Class of 2018 transition to Fairfield, begin to call it home, and start forming friendships that will last through their own Senior Week and beyond.

It's an exciting time for the University community as we give the best send-off and welcome we can to both of these classes.
