Glee Club Goes Hollywood with Quick Center Concert May 1
The ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp Glee Club, conducted by Carole Ann Maxwell, D.S.M., with accompanist Beth Palmer, and the Reverend Charles H. Allen S.J., chaplain, will present their annual Pops Concert, Glee Goes Hollywood , at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 1 at the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts. Members will also perform solo and in a variety of collaborations, including The Bensonians, Fairfield's all-male a cappella group, and Sweet Harmony, an all-female ensemble of chamber singers.
The evening's program features an eclectic set of audience favorites from the Great American Songbook, Broadway and movie soundtrack hits, and rock and pop tunes by ABBA, Fleetwood Mac, The Who, Lana Del Rey, and Flight of the Conchords.
The Glee Club will be accompanied by The Pops Band, consisting of Mike Nunno (bass), Anthony DeQuattro (drums), and Dan Arcamone (guitar), and The Glee Band, consisting of Robby Schwartz (keyboard), Daniel Horstmann (drums), Seamus Barrett and John Domenico (guitars), Chris Finell (guitar, trumpet), and Tim Rhone (trombone).
