Stags to March in NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade

It will be cold next Monday, March 17, but that won’t deter the dedicated Stags who venture down to Manhattan to march for the third year in the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade.

“We’re just hoping it doesn’t snow or rain,” said Jessica Colligan, director of regional engagement in the University’s Alumni Relations Office. Last year, more than 200 loyal Fairfield alumni, staff, and students came out to march in spite of decidedly unspring-like weather.

Participants are invited to gather pre-parade for breakfast at Vanderbilt Suites in the MetLife Building on Park Avenue between 10 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. Line-up time is 1:20 p.m.
